Sunflower husk is a great alternative fuel that allows businesses to reduce their natural gas consumption.

BIOsmartex equipment lines provide excellent husk densification, and solid fuel boilers allow you to burn husks and generate hot water and steam for your own production.

If the input raw material has a humidity below 15%, the pelletizing or briquetting line does not require a drying stage. If higher moisture content is expected, the line will include a dryer.  The raw material at < 15% humidity is fed to a grinding mill where it is reduced to a homogeneous fraction. From there it passes to a ring-die rotary press for pellet production, or a longitudinal press for briquettes.
